Perfumes have been used over the past centuries and were popular in all cultures.
The main difference between an Eau de Parfum, eau de toilette and eau de Cologne is the concentration of essential oils and the amount of alcohol.
Eau de Parfum contains about 15 / 20% essential oils. Eau de parfum has the highest concentration of odorous components. It is very intensive and evaporates slowly, but, unfortunately, is very expensive.
Eau de Toilette has 8 / 17% essential oils. It is suitable for use during the day and is lighter than perfume.
Eau de Cologne, known also as perfume and water is lower by around 5% essential oils. Is the lightest.
Fresh water is 1 / 3% of essential oils and is the lightest dilution of fragrance.
All perfumes are made from denatured ethyl alcohol and essential oils. Common in plant products, which contain a perfume are: bergamot, cardamom, cedar, gardenia, lavender, lemon, iris, jasmine, orange, raspberry, sage, rose, moss, sandalwood, vanilla, violet, eucalyptus, anise, kiwi, apple, bay leaf.
